Efficiently Minimizing Friction
CT Strider, a patent pending coil tubing oscillation tool, is composed of two main parts, a hydraulic channeling chamber (HCC) and a rhythmic pulsation chamber (RPC). The RPC contains a precisely engineered high speed pulse-valve that systematically restricts flow area. During flow restriction, or “closure”, the ideal amount of fluid is allowed to continue down hole while producing the designed thrust. This engineered hydraulic flow, produces an optimal pulse frequency of 3 thrusts per second, which is more efficient at reducing friction and producing higher working weights. CT Strider's unique drive system produces lower operating pressures than typical oscillation tools with a pdm drive system. This allows the operator to maintain a higher flow rate in higher pressure wells.
